Get a good look at the couple behind us, because I'm pretty sure after we sat down that they totally regretted being sat beside us. Pierce was getting to sample "real food" on vacation, which made him super excited! He got a tad excited about his grits and went crazy! I couldn't feed his face fast enough! I was in a sweat trying to keep him happy. The baby screams and whines between bites was distraction enough, but add in the grits being thrown everywhere, beating on the table, and him giving the stare down, I'm sure they decided right there that they would never have kids... EVER. haha.
After trying to feed our Tasmanian Devil we headed out to get to the Disney Resort... only to find out that we couldn't check in early like we had thought. We got there at nap time and were desperate for a room! However, they did give us the great news that they had given us an upgrade. At the moment, I didn't really care because I had a fussy baby and was ready for a room. As all the other guests continued to get to check in to their room early, we continued to be told that our room wasn't ready. We played pool in the lobby and drove around the resort (which was tiny). It was raining, so we couldn't go to the pool or do anything outside. We tried to go get some lunch, which also turned out to be a disaster when the greek lady decided to touch Pierce and totally freak him out. Our room was finally clean right at check-in time at 4 o'clock. I was not happy after our 3-4 hour wait, but coming into our beautiful room made it almost worth it! ;)
I had to take pics of our place, because it was gorgeous and huge!
This whole area was our porch! It was so relaxing. It was so nice to have our own little condo area to relax and enjoy family time. Russ went and picked us up some burgers from a quick little restaurant by the pool. We ate in our little kitchen and then went and enjoyed the pool.
After the pool, we went back and let Pierce play in the big bath before bedtime.
LOTS OF LOVE,
